After we were shown some rough work for King Kong at Saturday's movie panel, one of the stars, some guy named Jack Black, put on a concert. Fucking rocked the place.

Years ago I got to see Tenacious D before Jack Black was famous. It was a concert called Blind Date in Vegas. You'd show up at the event without knowing who was going to be playing. Well, the band ended up being STP, which was great. But the 'D' was the opening act and literally brought the house down. One of the funniest live comedy acts I've ever seen.

I remember turning to my wife (then girlfriend) and saying, "that guy is going places." No really. I did. Really. [img]redface.gif[/img]
